| Colbert County Sheriff's Office's online application process for Concealed Carry Permits has been a big success. We've had great feedback from the people who have used it. HOWEVER, if you do not access the correct online website you might not be applying for your local area. You could accidentally be applying for another state. Also, there are websites that only sale information brochures. We have the link you need to go to the correct page. Inside this location you can read about our permit process and click the link to be directed to our secure application and payment page. Once you have applied online you will receive a text or email message within approximately 24 - 48 hours letting you know the process is complete and background checks are finished. Then all you have to do is come by the office to have your photo I.D. card printed. The photo card printing only takes about 2 minutes.
